This Jazz Ensemble Music Selector contains information about 10,030 CHARTS as of August 23, 2026.
New publications from each publisher are added on or around the first day of each month.

This is a curated selection of verified titles, not a complete listing of every chart from every publisher.

About this resource

This copyrighted Jazz Ensemble Music Selector was created by a retired jazz ensemble director who always wanted the ability for a broader search for jazz music. This Selector is for jazz ensemble directors—especially useful for young directors—to widen their search for specific and/or new jazz ensemble music. It is also a resource for concert planning.

What to do if you see a mistake in a chart’s listing

On the right of each listing there is a select box labeled REPORT to point out corrections for a bad link; arranger or composer mistake; to provide a better link to the music; wrong difficulty; if it’s not a jazz ensemble chart; if a specific listing is the duplicate of another chart in the Searcher; or other issues needing attention.

How this resource is built

This Selector is a curated educational tool, not a complete catalog of every jazz ensemble chart ever published. Entries are drawn from publicly available publisher information, and new publications are added on an ongoing basis only when title, arranger/composer, and source can be verified. Many publishers maintain catalogs far larger than what appears here; those full lists remain available on each publisher’s own website. The goal is a practical, searchable starting point for directors—especially useful when comparing difficulty, style, and publisher in one place—rather than an exhaustive inventory of every title in print.

How to use this Selector
  • Checked titles are a planning list only. Purchasing is done on each publisher’s website.
  • A blue chart title opens the publisher’s website. Please notify Jim@JimWarrickMusic.com of incorrect links or data errors.
  • Totals at the bottom reflect publisher prices as of August 11, 2026 (updated monthly). Prices and availability can change—always confirm on the publisher’s site before purchasing.
  • Print a PDF of your selections when ready. For best results when building and printing a program list, use a desktop browser.
  • All fields on the database are alpha sortable.
How difficulty ratings are determined

Due to inconsistent standardization among publishers, this database maps available ratings into three levels: Easy (typically Grade 1–2 / Beginning), Medium (typically Grade 2½–3½ / Intermediate), and Difficult (typically Grade 4+ / Advanced). Refer to the publisher website linked in the blue title for the exact grade or series for each chart.
